ABP News has published its 2019 Elections survey which suggests that Modi is all set to repeat his 2014 performance and is on way to winning the 2019 polls by a heavy majority.
The survey was conducted by CSDS-Lokniti for ABP News on the occassion of completion of 3 years of the Modi Government. According to the survey, NDA is all set to win 45% votes which can convert to 331 seats. UPA with 27% vote share may get 104 seats while the Third Front or whatever other front comes up may get 22% votes converting to 108 seats.
As a PM candidate, Modi still enjoys unparalled popularity with 44% people prefering him to be the next PM as compared to 9% who prefer Rahul Gandhi. Modi’s current tenure also got a whopping 69% approval rate from the people who participated in the survey. 23% said the work done by NDA was extremely good, 46% consider it as good, 9% find it bad while 15% found it very bad.
North India: This includes survey done in UP, Rajasthan, Hariyana and Delhi for 151 seats. The results suggests that NDA may gain in vote share but loose 15 seats.
South India: This includes survey done in Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala for 132 seats. The results suggests that NDA is gaining 16 seats from this region. UPA is gaining at least 29 seats from this region but the loss is not of NDA but of Others.
Eastern India: This includes survey done in Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha and Jharkhand for 142 seats. The results suggests that NDA is gaining 16 seats from this region.
Western & Central India: This includes survey done in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, and MP for 118 seats. The results suggests that NDA may loose a few seats in this region.
The voting % also shows slight gain for NDA overall, although they see a dip in North India.
